How The Vintage Remedy Began
We are a mother-daughter team brought together by more than family — we were both navigating life with Alpha-Gal Syndrome. When the diagnosis came, it didn't just change what we could eat. It changed every lotion, soap, and personal care product we had ever trusted. Most contain lanolin, tallow, or other mammal-derived ingredients, and finding safe alternatives felt nearly impossible.
So we started making our own. Mom brings decades of experience as a registered nurse, with certifications in herbalism and homeopathy — a deep understanding of the body, of plants, and of what it means to truly care for someone's health. Her daughter brings the business mind: a degree in accounting that keeps things grounded, organized, and built to last. Our credentials don't define us — they open doors for helping others.
What began as a necessity in our kitchen became a passion — and eventually, The Vintage Remedy LLC. Every formula was tested on ourselves first, refined until it was something we were proud to use every single day. Today we make 100% mammal-free, plant-based personal care products for the Alpha-Gal community and anyone who wants clean, simple ingredients they can trust.
